I'm a huge fan of your music -- any time I feel depressed, I toss on "Surfacing" and wallow in the sadness, eventually coming 180 degrees around and dancing around aimlessly to "Sweet Surrender." It's an amazing release, so thank you for that.
Also, you looked absolutely beautiful at the Juno Awards this weekend where you were recognized for your humanitarian efforts with animals, women and children. Basically you're a fantastic person, so thank you for that.
Additionally, your smile is radiant -- like a unicorn jumping over a rainbow while tossing out cupcakes to paupers. You light up every room, so thank you for that.
Now, can we talk about 86-ing those ASPCA commercials? It's not that I have anything against what you're trying to do, but good lord, every time I hear that first chord of "Angel" set to pictures of the world's saddest looking puppies, it breaks my heart. And sometimes, my ankle.
Last night, I was watching TV and moseyed into the kitchen to tend to my Ramen when I heard, "In the aaaarms, of the angels..." piping up in the next room. Well, needless to say, I sprinted from the kitchen to grab the remote and flick it off when I slipped on the rug, fell backwards, twisted my ankle and knocked my head on the table. Ouchies.
So I'm asking you to find another way to make money for the ASPCA -- donate here! -- that doesn't involve me potentially dying. Thank you.
