Oh, OK, she’s not her actual daughter. But Amy Winehouse calls her one, and 13-year-old Dionne Bromfield is set to take her crown as the latest precocious singing sensation. Already snapped out and about with Amy, Dionne — who releases her debut album in May — reveals the erratic singer has a more normal side, coming to pick her up from school and playing computer games with her.
“We just do normal things. She’s like a second mum to me. We sing together and talk about hair and makeup. We even do each others’ nails. I’ve got my own room at her house and stay there at the weekends,” she tells Reveal magazine. Amy herself adds, “Dionne is like a daughter to me. She’s just like I was at her age when I was starting out. Her talent is incredible and I’m sure she’ll make it big.” Cute love-in, ladies!
