On an unseasonably sunny and warm March day in London, Amy Winehouse showed up to Westminster City Magistrates court wearing a sunny floral frock. Looks like spring has sprung, and it bounced out a new beginning.
Let's just go down the list of all the things that are right about this photo. Firstly, it looks like someone has been taking runway lessons while on holiday -- and pouty lip night classes too. Secondly, that amazing floral dress with a black cardigan says, "Adios snow, hello sun!" In this case, snow really just means snow, so don't get any metaphoric ideas. Lastly, that belt and frilly bow bra are working ivory white accents like an elephant on safari ... It's the perfect court-attire
She was in front of her local magistrate (I love that word!) to plead not guilty to an assault charge. And no contest to looking fa-bu!
The singer is accused of assaulting fan Sherene Flash when the fan asked to take a photograph during a ball in Berkeley Square last September 2008. MusicToob reported that Winehouse's lawyer apologized for the singer's late arrival. He said she left the house at 8.15 a.m. but "experienced some delay."
Apparently Amers fidgeted on the stand as she pleaded not guilty. By the looks of things I actually believe she may have her fish and chips back in one basket.
