Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg just confirmed that Madge is to release a new greatest hits collection - and that she will soon be hitting the studio to record new tracks for it.
Wait, I thought greatest hits were songs that were ... hits ... and that were great? What the Twizzlers is up with people recording new songs for best-of records? I'm not complaining but I would rather have new music. Maybe we just call the CD "Part-Time" or "Sorta' Lazy."
The record, her third greatest hits CD after 1990's "Immaculate Collection" and 2001's "GHV2," is slated to drop in September. So that means she gets six months to record new stuff, gather the third-tier hits that didn't fit into her first two compilations and remember to feed and change Jesus. You are gonna be a busy senorita!
