Her cooperation has been viewed as the thing that would separate the "Melrose Place" reboot from all the other new series coming your way this fall. In fact, many fans -- like myself -- have said that Heather Locklear's involvement would be the deciding tune-in factor. Especially once Ashlee Simpson became involved.
Well, according to EW, Heather Locklear was being heavily wooed, but like her fabulash character Amanda Woodward, she isn't a pushover! "There wasn't a way to bring her back that made sense," says a source close to the situation, adding that Heather has officially declined to reprise her role.
Wah-wah! Although producers are now reaching out to other stars I could give a hoot about what Billy Campbell is doing now. But then again, I stopped watching the show after they killed Sydney, so there is a whole crop of characters I never met.
Is there anyone "Melrose" could bring back that would woo you back?
