As if some casting agent got a hold of my fanfic diary, Brad Pitt has just signed on to star opposite Natalie Portman in a big screen romance! The delicious duo will star in an adaptation of "Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry." Jeepers that's long --d'ya think the title might change before hitting cinemas?
In the movie Brad will play Harold Morris -- a photographer in his 40s -- while Natalie will play Lenore Doolan -- a New York Times columnist in her late 20s. The twist that makes the core of this rom-com different is that Harold and Lenore's relationship plays out via a Sotheby's-like estate auction, with the 325 important artifacts and personal photographs for sale chronicling their four-year relationship.
But the tidbit I love more than the movie itself is that Natalie was the one who discovered the book and brought it to Brad's attention. Almost as if she woke up one day and thought, "Which actor do I want to fake date today?"
